Cascading Custom Fields for Jira is now maintained by CraftCoders

We have an important update for all users of Cascading Custom Fields for Jira (Multilevel Select List).

CraftCoders has acquired the app from CodeFortyNine and will take over ongoing maintenance, support, and future development. CodeFortyNine is a long-time partner and a befriended company we value highly and we’re working closely together to ensure a smooth transition for all customers.

What changes for you

  • Nothing breaks: the app continues to work as before.

  • Support is now handled by CraftCoders (see links below).

  • Over the coming months, we plan to extend the app with new capabilities and improvements.

We’re working toward the Atlassian Cloud Fortified badge for the app and plan to meet the program requirements within the next 4 months. Timelines may adjust depending on Atlassian’s review process and program requirements.

What we’re working on next

We’re investing in the product and plan to expand it over the coming months. Topics we’re currently evaluating include:

  • Import / Export for field configurations

  • A safer way to apply configuration changes to existing field values (for example after renaming or restructuring options)

  • Additional field types and new use cases
